What is Dragonfly Temple's sacrament?

Our sacrament is 5-MEO-DMT, a powerful entheogen also known as Bufo. An entheogen is a chemical substance, typically derived from nature, ingested to produce a non-ordinary state of consciousness for religious or spiritual purposes. Our sacred sacrament is the glandular secretion of Bufo Alvarius, a magical toad that resides in the Sonoran Desert. This gift of the toad allows us the profound experience of transcending, ego-illusion, allowing us to rise into the 12th dimensional angelic light plane, and brings us into the presence of Divine love, Divine intelligence and Source Creator. It provides many evolving benefits including somatic release, trauma release, self-love, deep healing and sometimes mystical experiences.

What is the Dragonfly Temple Fellowship?

Our entheogenic church fellowship is a nurturing community where like-minded individuals come together to support one another in their journey of healing the mind, body, and soul. We provide a safe and uplifting space to connect, grow, and deepen your path of transformation.

What will I experience when I take the sacrament?

One can experience many forms of expression during a journey with our sacrament. One of the most common experiences is what is termed in the Sanskrit word Samadhi, which is a non-dualistic state of consciousness where the individual feels at one with the universe and all living beings. This experience is often described as union with God or Christ consciousness. The hallmark of this experience in the context of a Bufo journey is the death or transcendence of ego.

The level of power and beauty often make it very difficult for participants to describe such a profound experience in words. Visionary hallucinations are rare, but an experience of being surrounded by a vast field of fractal, white light and having feelings of mother earth’s unconditional love and a profound sense of deep comfort and safety. When returning to consciousness, most participants feel that they have received healing or even Divine messages.

It’s important to mention that each individuals journey will be unique. While unpleasant experiences are not the norm, the sacrament can be intensely disorienting for some. As suppressed trauma and shadow material rises to the surface, some participants may experience, sadness, anger, or even feelings of depersonalization. These kinds of feelings are a normal and temporary part of the process for some and any of these issues will be attended by the experienced temple staff who will be holding space with you during your journey. Frequently the problem of unpleasant experiences is caused by the ego’s unwillingness to surrender to the process of the sacrament. This highlights the importance of being prepared to Surrender. It is advised to practice this surrender mindset in the days leading up to your ceremony.

Remember to be gentle with yourself as healing can sometimes be painful, ugly, and intense. This is because the medicine must go deeper than the wound.  However your journey unravels, we believe that all expressions are perfectly Divine for each individuals highest good, which is the purpose for our celebration of this gift from God, our sacrament 5-MEO-DMT.

How many times should I sit with the sacrament?

As we are all completely individuals, it varies widely from person to person when it comes to how many times one should sit with our Sacred Sacrament.

This brings up the importance of integration. How are you using your experience with the sacrament as a tool to improve your life?  Have you been able to apply those epiphanies to your daily habits? The power is ultimately in your hands when it comes to how deeply the sacrament can touch your life. Our sacrament is not a cure all, but put simply a very powerful tool, that helps us get closer and closer to expressing our authentic selves. Some may find it easy to integrate the messages quickly, while others may take much longer to unpack and work through the shadow parts of themselves.

No matter what pace you are working at, we recommend that you plan a 30 day interval between ceremonies to allow your integration to level out.

What are the differences between drugs and entheogenic medicines?

Certainly! Here’s a concise explanation:

Drugs and entheogenic medicines differ primarily in their purpose, origin, and relationship with the body. Drugs, often synthetic, are designed to target specific symptoms or conditions, sometimes with unintended side effects. In contrast, entheogenic medicines, such as our sacrament, are natural substances that work holistically with the brain and body’s systems to promote healing, balance, and transformation. Entheogenic medicines often aim to address root causes of imbalances, supporting the mind, body, and spirit in alignment with nature aka Pacha-mama.

What are the differences between NN-DMT vs 5-Meo-DMT?

It is very common to get these two molecules confused. While both compounds are powerfully psychoactive tryptamines, their affects differ greatly.

DMT is often referred to as the spirit molecule for generating surreal, visionary journeys that may involve encounters with supernatural and even alien beings and worlds (the 5th dimension). It has an ancient, deeply rooted history of shamanic use. For millennia indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin have combined two or more plants to create the powerful DMT containing brew ayahuasca, which has long been central to these cultures, spiritually and revered as a master plant teacher.

On the other hand, 5-Meo-DMT is known as “the God molecule” for inducing a transcendent state of consciousness that is often devoid of visuals in mimics and year death experience in which the subject object paradigm and all sense of self vanish. Our sacrament is the glandular secretions of the Sonoran desert toad and when experienced safely in a ceremonial context, our sacrament, Buffon can enable an indescribable, ecstatic experience with source, God, or oneness with the entirety of creation (the 12th dimension). An ancient Hinduism, the term Samadhi refers to an ultimate spiritual state of ego dissolution in union with the divine consciousness. Its powerful cleansing effects include somatic, release, trauma, release, liberation, and return to innocence which describes the concept of Moksha.

What is an Ego Death?

Ego death is a profound spiritual experience where the sense of self, or “ego,” dissolves, allowing individuals to transcend their usual identity and connect with a greater universal consciousness. This transformative process can bring deep insights, a sense of unity, and liberation from limiting beliefs, paving the way for personal growth, healing, and a more authentic way of being.

Why can't I remember my journey with the sacrament 5-MEO-DMT Bufo?

About 10% of participants will have complete memory loss of their journey. The reason for this is simply the dose is too high. The second reason is the effect of the natural interaction of the sacrament with your psyche. Too high, a dose can create a condition known as “white out”. The remedy for this is to start at the lowest most effective dose, then offer smaller booster doses as needed until the individual participants optimal amount is arrived at. Please understand that not remembering does not equate to not healing. Although we may not initially remember the journey, there will still be a process of integration and in time and ability to experience, meaningful impressions and feelings from the process. We highly recommend journaling as it can be particularly helpful in this situation. Be open to talking with a counselor, integration coach, or entheogenic therapist if needed.
